Booking Terms

  • Payment: bookings made more than 45 days before departure require a 50% deposit, with the remaining 50% due 45 days before departure. Bookings made 45 days or less before departure require full payment.
  • Cancellation: 60 days or more before the charter, a €100 administration fee; between 60 and 45 days, 30% of the total charter fee; less than 45 days, 100% of the charter fee.
  • Unsafe weather: if the weather is deemed unsafe by the Thai Meteorology Department, we cancel the charter and first offer an alternative date. If this is not possible, a full refund is provided.
  • Security deposit: each yacht has a fixed refundable security deposit of EUR 3,000 to EUR 6,000, depending on the yacht, paid by card at check-in.

FAQ

Is a captain included?

Bareboat and skippered options depend on the yacht, availability and your sailing experience. A captain or chef costs EUR 175 per person per day. We'll confirm crew requirements, cabin allocation, fees and all inclusions in your email quote before you book.

Can we customize the route?

Routes can be adjusted for weather, sea conditions and your preferences.

Is this a shared boat?

No. This is a private charter for your group only.

Do we need sailing experience?

No sailing experience is required when you book with a professional skipper. For bareboat charters, we'll confirm licensing, experience and local requirements.

Can we rent a yacht without a skipper?

Yes, if at least one person in your group holds a recognised skipper licence and has recent sailing experience. Otherwise, add a skipper for EUR 175 per day.

All charters start and finish at Yacht Haven Marina, on Phuket's north-east coast, Thailand.
